The Shimano SL-TZ500 is a simple polymer thumb shifter for entry-level drivetrains, with an indexed right shifter, a friction left shifter and the shift cable included. It's the straightforward replacement for 6- and 7-speed flat-bar bikes, with a 3-speed front version also available.
