The Shimano Alivio BR-T4000 is an aluminum linear-pull V-brake whose 107mm arch gives extra mudguard clearance, with strong, controllable braking and updated rubber boots. It is a solid replacement or upgrade for hybrids, trekking bikes, and older mountain bikes running rim brakes, in front and rear versions in black or silver.
