Maxxis Dissector II
The Maxxis Dissector II is a fast-rolling tubeless-ready mountain tire with redesigned side knobs, a split 2-3-2 center layout for better braking traction, and repositioned transition knobs that smooth out lean-over. It works as a front, rear or pair on trail bikes, and on longer-travel bikes it shines as a quick rear tire for dry and hardpack conditions.
- Redesigned side knobs with a larger footprint and reworked sipes
- New shape resists deflection under load - inceasing durability and control
- Center design remains 2-3-2 layout, with the center "3" being split into individual knobs for improved braking traction
- Transition knobs are pushed outward, creating a smoother transition as the tire leans over
- When used on trail bikes the Dissector can be used as a front, a pair, or as a rear depending on trail conditions
- On longer travel bikes (150mm+) the Dissector is ideas as a fast rear tire for dry conditions
