OHM is proud to announce our partnership with Nootka Bike Co. as our Premier Service Partner for the Vancouver Lower Mainland. Starting this month, professional, certified e-bike service comes directly to your door β€” whether you're on the North Shore, in downtown Vancouver, out in Langley, or anywhere in between.

Why Nootka?

We didn't take this decision lightly. When you buy an OHM, you're investing in a premium e-bike built to last. The service experience should match that standard.

Nootka Bike Co. is a North Vancouver-based mobile bike shop that shares our commitment to quality. Their technicians are Bosch and Shimano STEPS certified β€” the same certifications held by our own team at the OHM Experience Centre. They've now completed OHM-specific product training, and their service vehicles carry the diagnostic tools needed to work on every model in our lineup.

Curtis and his team understand e-bikes at a technical level that most shops simply don't. That matters when you're dealing with integrated drive systems, firmware updates, and the kind of electrical diagnostics that separate a proper service from someone just tightening bolts.

What This Means for OHM Owners

The short version: you now have two ways to get your OHM serviced.

In-store at the OHM Experience Centre. Our North Vancouver location at 930 Harbourside Drive remains fully operational. Daniel and the team are here seven days a week for service, consultations, test rides, and everything else. Nothing changes on this front.

Mobile service with Nootka Bike Co. Nootka's fully equipped service vehicles come to your home, office, or wherever your bike lives. They cover the entire Lower Mainland β€” North Shore, Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby, Surrey, Delta, Tsawwassen, Tri-Cities, New Westminster, Langley, and Squamish. Extended service is available to Abbotsford, Hope, and Whistler.

For a lot of our customers, this solves a real problem. We have over a thousand OHM owners in the Lower Mainland, and not everyone lives a convenient drive from North Vancouver. Maybe you're in South Surrey and a round trip to Harbourside Drive eats half your day. Maybe you don't have a bike rack or a vehicle that fits an e-bike. Maybe you'd just rather spend your Saturday riding instead of sitting in traffic on the Ironworkers Memorial.

Now you book online, pick a time, and a certified technician shows up at your door. That's it.

Service Menu

Nootka offers a straightforward service menu for OHM customers:

Basic Tune β€” 1 hour, $149. Safety inspection, gear and brake adjustment, chain lube, tire check. The essentials to keep your bike riding safely and smoothly.

Full Tune β€” 2 hours, $219. Everything in the basic tune plus electrical diagnostics, drivetrain cleaning, brake service, and a full bike clean. This is the one you want before riding season kicks in.

Shop Rate β€” $149 per hour for anything outside the standard packages. Custom work, accessory installation, or diagnostic deep-dives.

These prices are consistent with professional e-bike service across the Lower Mainland, and the convenience of having it done at your location is hard to beat.

Premier Bike Delivery

Here's a bonus we're excited about. If you purchase a new OHM, Nootka can deliver it fully assembled directly to your door. No cardboard box in your living room. No YouTube assembly tutorials. No wondering if you torqued the stem bolts correctly.

You order the bike, we prep it, and Nootka delivers it ready to ride. Delivery is available across the Lower Mainland with extended delivery to Whistler, Abbotsford, and Hope.

For customers who've been buying online and dealing with the assembly process themselves β€” or for anyone who wants the white-glove experience β€” this is a meaningful upgrade.

Warranty Support

One of the most important aspects of this partnership is warranty coverage. Nootka is authorized to perform warranty diagnostics on OHM bicycles. For minor warranty items β€” displays, sensors, and similar components β€” their technicians can diagnose the issue and complete the repair in a single visit with real-time authorization from our team.

For more complex warranty cases involving battery or motor systems, Nootka handles the initial assessment and coordinates with OHM directly. Either way, the process is seamless for you as the customer. You don't need to ship your bike anywhere or wait weeks for a resolution.

OHM continues to manage all manufacturer relationships and warranty inventory. Nootka is an extension of our service capability, not a replacement for our warranty obligations.

What Doesn't Change

A few things worth stating clearly.

Your OHM warranty is still with OHM. Nootka is our authorized partner, but your relationship is with us. Any product issue, recall, or warranty claim is ultimately OHM's responsibility.

The Experience Centre isn't going anywhere. We're open seven days a week in North Vancouver and continue to offer the full range of service, sales, test rides, and consultations. If you prefer in-person service with the team that designed your bike, we're here.

Your service history stays with OHM. All service performed by Nootka is reported back to us, so we maintain a complete record of your bike's maintenance history regardless of where the work was done.
