The Shimano XT SL-M8100 is a 12-speed RapidFire Plus trigger shifter with 2-way release and multi-shift, dropping up to four gears with the thumb lever in one sweep with noticeably lighter action than the previous XT generation. It suits trail and XC riders running Shimano 12-speed who want fast, positive shifts, in band-clamp or I-Spec EV versions for a cleaner cockpit.
